We have an Electrocompaniet EMC 1 MKV CD Player.  This is a reference-tier, top loading CD player built by the renowned Norwegian audio manufacturer Electrocompaniet.  t is widely celebrated for its over-engineered physical build, specialized vibration mechanical shielding, and highly musical, "analog-like" sonic profile.  This unit includes the Spyder Clamp which is made out of aluminum, and it is a $500 upgrade to the stock gold puck, extending specialized arms across the CD to actively center the disc and completely eliminate microscopic laser reading.
